Emmanuel Kanu Ivi - businessman and community leader

Mazi Emmanuel Kanu Ivi is a businessman and community leader, and was born on the 1st of May 1948. A native of Asaga village, Arochukwu.

He was educated at Government Technical College, Enugu; Institute of Management and Technology (IMT);.University of Nigeria, Nsukka (Accounting) and the University of Lagos (MBA). He won the overall best graduate prize in accounting at University of Nigeria, Nsukka and was Senior Financial/ Project Accountant, Texaco; Treasurer/Head of Finance, Ciba Geigy Ltd; Executive Chairman, Target International Group; Ekochiv Ventures Ltd, Tinakay Ltd, Chairman, Aro News Publications Ltd. Mazi Emmanuel Kanu O. Ivi founded Arochukwu Community Bank. He is also on the board of Abbey Mortgage Bank Plc.

Ugwu Aro is a past President General of Nzuko Aro, its National Patron, fellow and member of many associations etc.

Ogeneukwu has mentored several Aro persons who has gone ahead to become highly successful in several fields. He is married to Tina and blessed with children and grandchildren.
